With a history of over 230 years the present day Ramsteiner-hof has served the public, providing a combination of friendly, comfortable living and time-honored dining. Official records dating back to 1761 trace the Ramsteiner-hof, formerly the Golden Hirsch, as an inn and postal mail station for changing riders and horses. Since 1879 the Ramsteiner-hof has provided a popular restaurant and meeting place for travelers and local residents. Since the early days of the 19th century it has become the cornerstone of the hotel trade serving this area.
